Below the outlined program for the Conference on Local Implementation of the European Landscape Convention. More details can be found in the Conference Program and on the separate pages for speakers, workshops, and field trips.

All morning and afternoon sessions will have a 30 minute coffee break.

Tuesday 26th May: two options for those flying into Prague

Either - Staying in Prague. In the late afternoon / early evening of 26th May we will organize a sight seeing event including dinner.

Or – for those who plan to travel directly to Nove Hrady, it will be possible to register early at the Buquoy Palace and check into your accommodation from 15.00 onwards.

Wednesday 27th May: Opening Day

Transport will be arranged (by bus, 10 € surcharge) for those traveling from Prague. Buses will depart in mid morning and early afternoon calling at pick up points in Ruzyne (Prague Airport) and the City center. We will look to help arrange alternative travel for late arrivals.

08:00–18:00 Registration at the Buquoy Palace, Nove Hrady
12:00–18:30 Case studies and poster sessions.
19:00 Opening of the Conference including dinner, key-note speech, and party.

Thursday 28th May: Presentations: Plenary presentations and themed workshops

09:00–12:30 Plenary session: introduction, four key speakers and plenary discussion.
12:30–12:45 Summarising of the outcomes of the morning session.
12:30–14:00 Working lunch in Chateau.
14:00–16:30 Break-out workshops on four themes.
16:30–18:00 Plenary summarizing of workshop by rapporteurs followed by discussion.
19:00–21:00 Dinner in Hotel Rezidence followed by key presentation and panel discussion.

Friday 29th May: A celebration of South Bohemian landscapes:

09:00–16:00 Two field trips: one focusing on rural the other on urban issues.
16:00–17:30 Convene at Hotel Rezidence for brief feedback from group rapporteurs.
18:00–20:00 Dinner at the Hotel Rezidence.
20:00 After-dinner key speech and discussion.

Saturday 30th May: Closing Day with special CoE celebration activities

09:30–12:50 Short presentations on local community involvement in landscape.
13:00–14:30 Lunch in Hotel Rezidence.
14:30–16:30 Free time with option to visit cultural events around the historic blacksmith workshop
16:30–18:00 Plenary closing session: summing up outputs and closing remarks.
19:00 Farewell party, grill-barbeque in the Chateau garden.

Sunday: Departure and after-event excursions

A one-day excursion to the Sumava is in planning. More details will be available soon

Depending on requests and departure times, participants can use the Conference Bus to Prague Airport, leaving early in the morning.
