Wellness Hotel Rezidence

The Wellness hotel Rezidence is located in the old Buquoy Residence on the town square in Nove Hrady. Until recently, the building had been empty for several years but now has been completely rebuild with help of EU funding into a modern three-star hotel with modern facilities. This includes an in-house wellness area with sauna, whirlpool, swimming pool, salt chamber, and steam room.

Several of the Conference lunches and diners will take place in this hotel as well.

Apart from the Wellness Hotel Rezidence, Nove Hrady has several other accommodation providers, mostly pensions, family hotel, or B&B. In general they are cheaper, but with a very limited number of rooms. These are often rented like apartments for up to 5 people, with shared facilities. With or without breakfast included. These providers typically cater to the Czech tourists, mostly families or small groups on cycling holidays. Language can be a problem: some providers speak German, fewer English.

Pension Hamr

For those wanting real quiet close to nature, this alone-standing guesthouse is situated in the back part of the so-called “English Park” (park created in 1756) in Nove Hrady Valley, about 5 km from the venue.  

Pension Zelený dům

Pension “Green House” (as in outside is painted in green), at the foot of the hill on the outskirts of Nove Hrady.

Monastery

The monastery offers hostel-type accommodation in the form of simple sleeping rooms for 2-4 persons, al without facilities.  They have a large dining room; all meals have to be ordered the day before.
